VESevo Smart Technologies, an innovative start-up company from MegaRide group and American Racing, the only American Team competing in the MotoGP World Championship, announce a strategic collaboration for the 2024 season aimed at the development of the bikes and race strategies through tire analysis.
VESevo’s technology allows to delve deeper into the complexities of tire compounds through non-invasive viscoelastic analysis, from providing indications that contribute to improve prototyping and design phases, to a more accurate choice of tires to use during the race. This process enables the possibility of optimal track strategy creation based on the type of circuit, bike configuration and environmental condition.
As part of the technical partnership with American Racing, VESevo will supply the team with the device, enabling real-time, non-destructive analyses of tire. VESevo performs blanket tests on brand-new tires and after several curing cycles to understand the real effect of these on viscoelastic properties, providing suggestions on how to manage the preparation phase before competitions.
In addition, VESevo will provide American Racing with all the expertise and resources necessary to develop ad-hoc solutions specifically designed for the team’s needs, this will result in monitoring and support tools that will help the team make the most effective use of the technology through a full understanding of tire characterization.
This information will empower the American Racing Team to formulate optimal race strategies, enhancing their overall performance.
