November 25, 2025 – MegaRide received the “Premio Adriano Olivetti” at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in Rome for the Seaside Racing project, recognised as a concrete contribution to local development through research, education and industrial collaboration.
The “Adriano Olivetti” National Award is a recognition created by the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce and the Adriano Olivetti Foundation that honours one of the leading figures of Italy’s 20th-century industry, promoting values such as sustainability, community, social responsibility, innovation and local development.
Seaside Racing is an on-track research laboratory, where universities and international companies bring vehicles, test equipment and methods together to collect high-quality data on safety and performance in real conditions. The initiative is self-funded and based on open knowledge, with results and insights from the testing week shared among all partners, cutting individual costs and raising the quality and impact of the work.
From 2021 to 2025, Seaside Racing has grown into a community of more than 20 companies and 6 universities, involving over 100 young engineers and professionals who develop new skills, build networks and access advanced research opportunities a few kilometres from one of Italy’s most iconic coastlines.
