1st place at the Indy Autonomous Challenge in Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

The Indy Autonomous Challenge gathers university teams from around the world compete in a series of challenges to advance technology that can speed the commercialization of fully autonomous vehicles and deployments of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to increase safety and performance.

The race format consisted of 20 laps, with teams allotted a push-to-pass time budget. This allowed teams to unlock 100% throttle for two seconds and an additional twenty-eight seconds at a maximum of 35%, while throttle was capped at 30% during a 20-second cooldown period.

Alongside with Unimore Racing and HiPeRT-Lab, MegaRide had the opportunity to bring its real-time tire models and observers into the world of autonomous racing.
The collaboration advances research in a scientific field that will be pivotal for future industial applications. As is often the case, innovation finds its first proving ground in the world of racing before transitioning to broader automotive uses.
